2027 Enrolment for NEW Children

We are excited to announce that the enrolment process for the 2027 education year for new children has begun. Please see below for the link to a 'New Child Expression of Interest - 2027 Enrolment' form. Families who have children already enrolled with IDFS will need to follow the re-enrolment process which has been communicated separately via the OWNA app.
NEW CHILD EXPRESSION OF INTEREST - 2027 ENROLMENT
This form will enable you to request your preferred service(s) and day(s) for care next year. Please note that the current 3-day maximum enrolment policy will still apply.
Please take your time when completing the form to ensure your responses and preferences are correct and what you are actually looking for in terms of care for next year. Please only complete one form per child.
The link to the 'New Child Expression of Interest - 2027 Enrolment' form will close on Tuesday, 13 October 2026, to allow us sufficient time to process all requests and look at placements for next year.
We are aiming to send out offers for placement during Week 5 (starting on 9 November, 2026). Once you have confirmed the offer, you will receive an email with a link to an Enrolment Form that will need to be completed.
Our goal is to have all enrolments confirmed and Enrolment Forms completed by the end of Week 8 - Friday, 4 December 2026, so that families will know their days of care for 2027.
Anticipating a high demand with over 1100 placements across each week expected for the 2027 year, we kindly ask for your patience and understanding as we undertake this process. The demand for Early Education and Care services in our region continues to exceed supply, but IDFS and our dedicated team are working diligently to ensure that every child has access to early education where possible. We have taken into account your valuable feedback on enrolment processes and aim to make this process as smooth as possible for everyone.

Fees and Funding
IDFS is a recipient of funding under the NSW Department of Education’s Start Strong Preschool program and fee relief is available for families of eligible children, aged 3 and above - for further information, visit: Start Strong for families (nsw.gov.au)
Child Care Subsidy will be accessible for those attending a Long Day Care service. Including, both infants from birth to three years old and those who participate in a preschool program offered through Long Day Care services. Please ensure you are registered and approved to receive Child Care Subsidy with Human Services before completing your enrolment - for further information, visit: Child Care Subsidy - Services Australia
